Plumbers snagging log — what to record
The short answer: log every plumbers defect the day you spot it: location, date, photos, the builder's written response. Watch hardest for: slow leaks under floors, mis-pressurised systems, unlagged pipes bursting in winter, non-compliant waste traps. The log becomes the backbone of your schedule of loss.

One row per defect; photograph before touching; keep phone originals; mark rows "remedied" rather than deleting; same-day written notification per new row. Full method: the snagging log. Trade detail: plumbers disputes.
